Fifteen years ago my father-in-law gave me a book, The Art of Painting Animals on Rocks by Lin Wellford on how to paint cute little animals on rocks, “So silly” I thought: however after painting the first stone, I was smitten. I couldn’t stop. Soon I had tables in all the craft shows, selling my adorable creature creations, everything from ladybugs to large leopards. I was labeled the “Rock Artist” by a local radio station. “You should go to art school!” was a phrase I heard repeatedly from people admiring the rocks. So I did.
After four years in Barrie’s Georgian College and through an articulation with Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia I received my BFA.
You are AWESOME! In fact, YOU ROCK!! 🙂
I think mice are rather nice…
